This website features my portfolio of artwork.  I am trained as an architect and I am the principal of a Marin County-based architecture firm, Russell Architects. In 2016 I discovered the hands-on satisfaction of watercolor, oil painting, and charcoal drawing as an extension of the skills of visualization, both manual and computer aided, that I have developed over decades in my practice. The discoveries have been life changing. I hope you enjoy the work contained here.
